That’s a wrap on All Energy Australia 2025! What an incredible few days we had last week exploring the latest innovations shaping the future of renewable energy. One big takeaway this year - EV infrastructure is booming! A huge section of the expo was dedicated to EV charging technology, showing just how fast this space is growing. It was also great to spend time with our amazing partners and suppliers throughout the event - catching up, sharing ideas, and seeing firsthand the new technology on the horizon. We’re excited to bring some of these upcoming solutions to our customers soon and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in home and business energy systems.

Amazing days at All Energy Australia in Melbourne this week - there was definitely a lot of energy in the hall, it was impossible to snap a photo that captured the size of the event. Energy expended as well, it took me 10 minutes to walk end to end! Hearing from domestic and international speakers and experts in the EV Technology and Infrastructure stream, it’s clear that the industry is just getting started from an investment perspective and yet the pace of innovation and change is tremendous.

It’s always great to hear directly from the crowd about the pressing issues as well as sharing the various challenges, solutions and successes the other states and territories are having with their own programs. It appears from the conference displays that 2026 is gearing up to be an exciting year for vehicle to grid, with so many exciting new products becoming available!

Walking the incredible exhibition, the hype and focus was around EVs, high scale battery tech, EV charging both at home and charging infrastructure. Many drones were also on display. And it strikes me that the next wave of innovation we need is the data sharing aspect. With all this incredible hardware and infrastructure, there needs to be cohesion in the demand spikes and performance management. Was great to see AI applications already being used to solve this.

Our team attended All Energy Australia in Melbourne last week. They came back inspired by the latest in solar and battery technology, and what it means for homes and businesses right here in New Zealand. We’re buzzing with ideas and can’t wait to bring the next wave of solar and battery innovation to Kiwi homes and businesses.
