Sessions released for Clean Energy Council ATRAA conference at All-Energy Australia

21 Jul 2015

The Clean Energy Council and Reed Exhibitions Australia have released the two-stream session program for the ATRAA Conference, taking place on the second day of All-Energy Australia.

New and emerging technologies, battery storage and other case studies from the Clean Energy Council Solar Design and Installation Award winners will feature in the technical stream, including speakers from Ergon Energy, Exide Technologies, Ampetus Energy and the Australian Battery Recycling Initiative.

The business stream will examine issues facing the industry including panel integrity, warranty concerns and the challenges facing commercial installers, featuring speakers from CSIRO, Q-Cells, RFI, SunWiz, Canadian Solar, Finlaysons, Bosch and Todae Solar. Representatives from the Clean Energy Council, Elecsafe Australia and the Clean Energy Regulator will also host a frequently asked questions session for members and solar installers.

Kane Thornton of the Chief Executive Clean Energy Council said the free sessions provided invaluable training for the solar industry, with high quality sessions that would help to raise the bar across the renewable energy sector. “The ATRAA Conference will help solar installers, retailers and SME crowds become familiar with new technologies and products, and learn how they can leverage them more efficiently,” said Mr Thornton. “Plus, All-Energy has free entry and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points for attendees along with a massive expo, a Professional Development Day for solar installers and the ATRAA Awards Dinner.”

John Gorton, Executive Director at Reed Exhibitions Australia said that the ATRAA conference was just one of many must-see events at All-Energy Australia 2015. “We’re fortunate to host some of the world’s leading authorities on renewable energy all in the one place, ranging from speakers on both days to an extensive exhibitor list” said Mr Gorton. “Further to the ATRAA Conference, attendees can glean insights and knowledge from more than 100 exhibitors, many of whom are Australian and international solar representatives.”

Members and installers are encouraged to take advantage of the free admission to the ATRAA Conference, taking place on Thursday 8 October at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Nominations for the 2015 Clean Energy Solar Design and Installation Awards will open on 1 August, with more information available at www.solaraccreditation.com.au
