The Hon. Bill Shorten MP, leader of the opposition to deliver ministerial welcome at All-Energy Australia 2015

Leader of the Opposition and Federal Member for Maribyrnong the Hon. Bill Shorten MP, will deliver the Federal Ministerial Welcome at All-Energy Australia 2015 in Melbourne this October.

His address will form part of the event’s Opening Plenary on 7 October, which will also include a presentation from the Victorian Minister for Energy and Resources the Hon. Liliana D’Ambrosio and Former CEO RWE nPower Volker Beckers.

Reed Exhibitions Australia Executive Director, John Gorton, said the State and Federal presence at All-Energy Australia demonstrated its role in shaping future debate around Australia’s energy mix.

“We are pleased to announce the Hon. Bill Shorten MP will be attending All-Energy Australia this year, and look forward to hearing his vision for Australia’s energy sector,” said Mr Gorton.

“His address will join a comprehensive program of speakers, case studies and exhibitors from around the world debating the latest clean energy generation and energy efficiency trends in the sector.” Former CEO RWE nPower and current Chairman of Albion Community Power Mr Volker Beckers will also deliver a keynote presentation on the transformation and creation of smarter energy markets.

The Opening Plenary will also feature a C-Level Panel looking at the role of new technology on the sector, featuring CEFC CEO Oliver Yates, Enphase Energy CEO Paul Nahi, DNV GL Regional Manager Asia Pacific, Energy & Renewables Advisory, Mathias Steck, Redflow BDM Bruce Ebzery and Powershop Chief Executive Ben Burge.

All-Energy Australia is Australia’s largest clean and renewable energy event, and is taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 7 and 8 October 2015. Entry to trade exhibition and conference is free.
