The Clean Energy Council to partner with All-Energy Australia for mega event for renewables

17 Dec 2014

The Clean Energy Council and Reed Exhibitions Australia have formed a strategic partnership to deliver the country’s largest clean energy conference and exhibition in 2015.

This partnership will see the Clean Energy Council merge its national solar conference with All-Energy Australia in support of the industry at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7 - 8 October 2015.

Clean Energy Council Chief Executive Kane Thornton said the strategic partnership had been formed to bring together two highly successful events to create a massive single event that would deliver scale and quality for the renewable energy sector.

The Clean Energy Council will run a separate conference in July with a focus on policy and finance.

All-Energy Australia Director Anthony Reed said: “As the industry faces uncertainty with the RET review, a partnership seemed the obvious way forward to ensure the same business opportunities are available without the pressure on the industry”. The expert technical program and solar professional development components from the Clean Energy Council’s ATRAA conference will be added to All-Energy Australia in October, along with the full support of the renewable energy industry’s peak body. Kane Thornton said these sessions would be provided free of charge at All-Energy Australia to ensure even greater opportunity for solar installers and leading renewable energy representatives to learn and network.

“The long-running and popular ATRAA dinner will also move to October, taking place on the final day of All-Energy Australia. It is exciting to join forces with All-Energy to deliver the sector’s largest event, and we are committed to helping the 2015 event to be a massive success. This will allow the industry to do business and celebrate their successes in one place,” Mr Thornton said. The partnership will provide a unified platform for companies to grow their business, create brand awareness, network and establish business connections without the need to be at separate events each year.

Anthony Reed explained that the strategic partnership with the Clean Energy Council and All-Energy Australia stemmed from the mutual objective of both events to provide the renewable energy industry with access to leading innovations, expertise and operational solutions in one place.

“All-Energy Australia prides itself on gathering the largest number of clean energy professionals and investors in Australia. This combined industry conference and exhibition will continue to help the industry grow and develop. Together with the Clean Energy Council we want to support the industry by providing all the benefits of both events in one,” he said.

Demand for the combined event is expected to be very high, so sponsors and exhibitors are encouraged to book early.
