ALL-ENERGY AUSTRALIA TO SHOWCASE MASSIVE SOLAR AND STORAGE PROGRESS

26 Aug 2016

The All-Energy Australia Exhibition and Conference, which runs in Melbourne from 4-5 October, will showcase the huge leaps in the renewable energy sector over the past year, event partner the Clean Energy Council said today.

Clean Energy Council Chief Executive Kane Thornton said All-Energy Australia covered the whole industry spectrum, including professional development for solar installers, 12 dedicated conference streams providing the latest industry insights, over 100 exhibitors and multiple networking opportunities.

“The sheer diversity of All-Energy Australia during an important time for the renewable energy industry will share the latest developments and ensure industry players stay at the front of the pack rather than struggling to catch up,” Mr Thornton said.

“As well as covering big picture policy and politics, the event will give all the up-to-the-minute developments from both mature technologies such as wind and solar, and cutting-edge technology such as energy storage that will play a big part of the energy landscape in five or 10 years from now.

“Solar installers can earn CPD points and hone their skills at the ATRAA conference and Professional Development Day. And on the evening of 4 October the industry’s best and brightest will be recognised at the Solar Design and Installation Awards at the ATRAA Dinner.”

Solar professionals should note that nominations for the Clean Energy Council Solar Design and Installation awards close COB Wednesday 31 August. Visit solaraccreditation.org.au/awards for more details.

Mr Thornton said the Clean Energy Council was committed to encouraging women in the renewable energy industry to take on leadership roles, and the Women in Renewables Lunch at All-Energy will help to recognise the important contribution of talented women in a flourishing sector.

“Momentum is building behind the Renewable Energy Target (RET), creating business opportunities both for industry players such as solar and wind developers, as well as equipment suppliers, contractors and consultants. The RET is predicted to lead to about $10 billion of investment in large-scale renewable energy alone, with much more in household and commercial solar,” he said.

“With a massive exhibition covering all facets of the clean energy story, industry professionals will be spoiled for choice when it comes to making new business connections. And the SMA grand networking event at the end of the first day will help you share plenty of new business cards which could very well turn into new clients.”

All-Energy Australia is located at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre from 4-5 October. Registration is free. Visit www.all-energy.com.au to register and for full event details. Tickets to the ATRAA dinner are now available at solaraccreditation.com.au/awards/atraa-dinner
