Women in Renewables Luncheon

The CEC have established a Women in Renewables initiative that aims to achieve a better gender balance at all levels of the renewable energy industry. As part of this initiative this program hosts an annual luncheon at All-Energy, bringing attendees together to network and share strategies for women to build their profiles in the industry. Key ideas that have emerged from these gatherings to date include a mentoring program, female student outreach, workplace policies that offer flexible working hours and beginning to undertake baseline measurements of womens’ participation in the sector.
