Chairperson: Gustavo Bodini, Business Development Manager (Infrastructure), TransGrid

This session will bring together industry experts to discuss the technological, policy and financial solutions that will be needed in order for the grid to facilitate a smooth transition to a low carbon future. A policy perspective supported by industry analysis will help frame the discussion and provide a strategic view of the issues, while financial and regional economic development perspectives will offer insight to likely challenges for the transition. The voices of a regional solar developer and a utility scale renewable generator will ensure the needs of the customer are front and centre of the discussion.

Representatives from the following groups will participate in this discussion:

•Regional economic development and/or policy (energy transformation)
