In 2022 (without IBEW), it attracted approx. 7,000 attendees to the tradeshow. They have had companies like SP Digital exhibit in the past. SP Digital looks at energy efficiency for buildings. IBEW
IBEW partners with the local Building & Construction Authority (BCA), which is a statutory board under the Singapore’s Ministry of National Development to organise an International Built Environment Week (IBEW). IBEW has now been changed to a biennial event. The last event was held in 2022, which attracted 1,400+ conference delegates.
BCA has a vested interest to push the local Built Environment to adopt initiatives under the Industry Transformation Map such as increasing productivity, digitalisation, sustainability, collaborative contracting and more. Besides the 3-day conference, BCA also organises Awards, young talent programme, programme for start-ups, and site tours.
