The Australian Trade Commission – Austrade – is the Australian Government’s trade and investment development agency. Operating through a global network of offices in more than 100 locations in over 55 countries, Austrade offers practical advice, market intelligence and ongoing support to Australian business.
Our job is to advance Australia’s international trade and investment interests by providing information, advice and services. We:
- Assist Australian enterprises to capture export and outward investment opportunities.
- Provide Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) to potential and existing Australian exporters.
- Help international investors to identify potential projects, strategic alliance partners and to navigate the investment approval process.
- Help companies around the world to source goods, services and investment from Australia
Austrade’s Clean Energy Trade and Investment Strategy connects Australia's clean energy and technology sector to emerging commercial opportunities as nations implement policies to address the challenges of climate change. The Strategy integrates trade and outward investment with inwards investment attraction.
