Call for Papers - now open
The 2012 conference programme will include international keynote presentations, case study presentations, technical updates and panel discussions. We welcome papers from industry professionals on a broad range of issues for consideration by the All-Energy Australia Conference Committee. If you are a technical expert in an area of clean and renewable energy or manage investments within the industry, we’d like to hear from you.
Conference sessions:
Papers should be relevant to any of the subjects below:
- Finance & investment relating to clean and renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
- Carbon pricing and emissions trading.
- Feed in Tariffs and subsidies.
- Future developments in clean and renewable energy systems, including nuclear fusion.
- Clean coal and carbon capture & storage.
- Utility scale solar PV and thermal installations.
- Geothermal energy - exploration and implementation.
- Future developments in wind energy systems.
- Storage of power generated by renewable energy systems.
- Fuel cells and other hydrogen-based fuel systems.
- The role of clean and renewable energy, and energy efficiency in commercial, industrial and domestic environments.
- Biofuels, bioenergy and low carbon waste to energy systems.
- The use of clean and renewable energy in portable and back up power systems.
- The military use of clean and renewable energy.
- Grid and transmission systems.
- Smart Grid and distributed energy systems, including issues relating to standards, demand management, security and the development, use and operation of smart appliances.
- Low carbon transportation systems (road, air, maritime, plus mobile industrial machinery) including issues relating to associated power storage and charging systems.
- Issues relating to the supply chain of key materials relevant to clean and renewable energy systems.
- Clean and renewable energy as a tool for economic development.
- Social and community issues associated with the adoption of clean and renewable energy.
- Ideally, your paper should be exclusive to All-Energy Australia 2012, and not one that has been presented at another conference. Previous presentations can serve as the basis of your paper, but all papers must incorporate new and original material.
- Your paper should, so far as is possible, contribute to the advancement of knowledge realting to the uses and applications of clean and renewable energy.
- Abstracts should not exceed 350 words (excluding presentation title) and indicate the preferred area for consideration (see ‘Conference sessions’ above).
- You should also include a summary CV, which features:
- Job title
- Place of work
- Full contact details
Papers should be sent as a Word Document or PDF to David Bebb, Conference Manager at david@mediageneration.co.uk no later than 5 August 2012.
We will endeavor to advise authors of the status of their application no later than 31 August 2012. Owing to the high number of papers we expect to receive, we cannot guarantee that all papers will be accepted for presentation, but we wish you every success.
